Nine years after the monster apocalypse, Eik had accepted that he would never get powers of his own. But now the apocalypse is ramping up again. When a monster crashes through the wall of Eik’s apothecary, his quiet life is turned upside down. Forced to choose his first Awakened Ability in order to survive, Eik soon finds out that his sister has been put in a coma by a venomous monster. Only by killing that monster can he synthesize the antiserum.
