Deja a los muertos en paz (Laß die Toten ruhn) (1823), también traducido como No despertéis a los muertos es un cuento de vampiros escrito por el autor alemán Ernst Raupach En este extraordinario relato, el personaje central resulta ser una vampira, Brunilda, difunta esposa de Walter, quien, en su afán por recuperarla, llega al extremo de pedir la intervención de un hechicero para resucitarla. En este cuento, el vampirismo de Brunilda se explica cuando el hechicero, al resucitarla, utiliza, en el ritual, sangre humana.
