My life had been a series of tragic events. When Snake stormed back into my world, I was forced to stare into his vengeful blue eyes and the word agony took on a whole new meaning. Innocence is a funny word. It means something different for everyone, but for me it meant growing up far too young. It meant falling in love with a boy, and then having my heart ripped out of my chest in such a painful way that I never thought I’d recover.

I’m a coroner and no stranger to death, but even I wasn’t ready for the twisted game this killer plays.
