Sugel Michelén has been pastor of Iglesia Bíblica del Señor Jesucristo (IBSJ) for over 40 years, where he regularly preaches the Word on the Lord's Day. He is a widely recognized conference speaker throughout the Spanish-speaking world and the author of several books, including De parte de Dios y delante de Dios (also available in English and Portuguese), De gloria en gloria, El cuerpo de Cristo, La más extraordinaria historia jamás contada, and his most recent work, La vida debajo del sol, all published by B&H Español. He holds a Doctor of Ministry from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, where he also teaches Historical Theology, History of the Reformation, and Apologetics. He has also pursued advanced studies in Christian education and has served for several years with ACSI in Latin America. For over 20 years he has taught Philosophy at Colegio Cristiano Logos, an educational institution affiliated with Iglesia Bíblica del Señor Jesucristo. Married for over 44 years, Sugel and his wife Gloria have 3 children and five grandchildren.
