Ron Mumford has been in singles ministry for over 20 years and was a Bible Fellowship teacher at Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano, TX. He is now a Life Group leader at Lone Star Cowboy Church in Montgomery, Texas. He attended the University of North Texas, in Denton, where he was a Journalism major, English and Business minor. Later, he was a Combat Correspondent/Photographer in the U.S. Army serving in Vietnam, (awarded two Bronze Stars) and Heidelberg, Germany. He has written for The Army Times, Stars & Stripes, magazines, newspapers and was a former literary agent. Ron has been published in several poetry anthologies and wrote a novel entitled, Gray Justice, two screen plays entitled, For Every Child, the story of how Santa Claus got his elves, and the Wayne's Angel trilogy which is a love story about the spiritual battle for a man's soul while he seeks the meaning of what true love is. Wayne’s Angel was a Silver Medalist in the Maxey Book Awards. "Ron really doesn't teach or beat you over the head with the Bible. He just talks to you."
