Robin Robinson is involved in many parts of the whiskey and spirits industry. His consulting firm is a trusted "brand sherpa" for small, independent spirits and wine producers entering the US marketplace. In addition to the longest running whiskey class in the US, WhiskeySmackdown (now re-branded as The History of Whiskey) at the Astor Center in NYC (now in its 16th year), he runs classes and workshops on marketing, sales and brand ambassadorship. He is on the faculty of Moonshine U in Louisville for Route-to-Market, is an Executive Steward of the Stave and Thief society and an accredited member of the BNIA (for Armagnac). He is one of 100 international judges for the Concour Mondial des Bruxelles Spirits Selection, a prestigious international spirits competition; and is a Spirits Judge for The John Barleycorn Society. "The Complete Whiskey Course..." and "The History of Whiskey in 100 Bottles, Barrels, and More" are currently his two books on whiskey available worldwide.
