R.W.R. McDonald is an award-winning New Zealand author based in Melbourne, Australia. His debut novel, The Nancys (published in the UK and North America as The Nancys and the Case of the Missing Necklace), won Best First Novel at the Ngaio Marsh Awards, was shortlisted for the Ned Kelly Awards and highly commended in the Victorian Premier's Literary Awards. He is also the author of the Ngaio Marsh Awards finalist Nancy Business, Happy Millionth Birthday, Rainbow Street and the historical murder mystery An Ambush of Widows. Rob teaches creative writing and mentors emerging writers. He enjoys creating stories filled with mystery, humour and heart.
