Mo Thomson writes psychological thrillers that explore the fine line between truth and perception, guilt and self-deception. In her Charlotte Bell series, a detective is forced to confront not only the darkness around her, but also within herself, in a world where trust is fragile and truth is elusive. Set against the backdrop of Edinburgh and Vienna, her novels combine psychological tension with morally complex characters and unsettling twists that leave no one untouched. When she's not writing, Mo Thomson works as a production manager and promoter in the live music industry. She lives with her family in Winterthur, Switzerland, and her work reflects the influence of both her Viennese roots and Scotland, along with a distinct appreciation for dry humour and darker undercurrents.
