Meredith O'Brien is an award-winning author of several books, ranging from novels to a memoir and works of creative nonfiction. Her latest book, "Uncomfortably Numb 2," a guide for newly-diagnosed MS patients, was a finalist for the National Indie Excellence Awards in the General Health category, while her 2017 book, "Mr. Clark's Big Band," about a Massachusetts middle school music teacher helping his students recover from grief, won an Independent Publisher Book Awards honor. She's working on a nonfiction book about a thirtysomething Massachusetts minister in her first year of ministry. She teaches journalism and creative nonfiction writing in Massachusetts. An avid fan of current events (she's a serious news junkie), pop culture, the Red Sox, Celtics, and coffee, Meredith lives in the Boston area with her spouse and two dogs, Tedy and Archie.
