Lisa Kelly lives in sunny Santa Barbara, California, with her husband and two goofy dogs. As a kid, she made up magical bedtime stories for her brothers and sisters—and never really stopped. The Wizard’s Way is her debut novel. Dr. Kelly's background in psychology deeply influences her storytelling approach. "For me, it wasn't enough to write a fun adventure story. I wanted it to be emotionally meaningful and psychologically healing," she says. "I believe stories are humankind's greatest teachers and healers. Through them, we see ourselves reflected in the characters, and as they face and overcome challenges, we learn, grow, and heal along with them."
