Leo Cunha is a Brazilian writer, translator and journalist. He has published over 60 books for children and teenagers, since 1993. Some of his books have received the most important literary prizes in Brazil, such as the Jabuti, Nestlé, FNLIJ,National Library, Ibby Honor List and White Ravens catalog. He has also translated books by Gabriela Mistral, Julio Cortázar, António Skármeta, David McKee, Jerry Spinelli, Charles Dickens, Imogen Foxell, among others. He was born in Bocaiuva, Brazil, in 1966, and lives in Belo Horizonte, with his wife Valeria and his kids Sofia and Andre.
