After a lifelong dream of becoming an author, Kathy published her first book in 2011 while continuing her work as a private duty nurse. She wrote much of her work during quiet moments while caring for patients, blending real-life experiences with inspiration drawn from faith, family, and the horse world she has loved since childhood. Beyond writing, Kathy is also passionate about quilting, oil painting, ceramics, traveling, wood carving, wood burning, and sculpting kiln-fired natural clay. In 2022 she began power carving wood sculptures, followed by traditional hand wood carving in 2023. Kathy lives in Oakland, Tennessee with her supportive husband, David, and their beloved Norwegian Forest cat, Oliver. Together they are parents of two sons and a daughter, and proud grandparents to 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren Bryant-Williams is the author of A Strong Risen King, a faith-filled true story about perseverance, healing, and trusting God’s timing through the journey of horses, hardship, and hope. Her newest release is A Horse Named Promise.
