K. N. Grout is a young author with a passion for creating fast-paced adventures filled with mystery, action, and a touch of humour. She writes for middle-grade readers but is enjoyed by teens and adults for a cosy clean read. Inspired after meeting ‘How To Train Your Dragon’ author Cressida Cowell, she set out to write the kind of stories she wished she could find on the shelves, books with excitement and film-like energy, inspired by her favourite stories from Harry Potter to Percy Jackson. Her love for storytelling began by writing stories every summer, and during lockdown, she rediscovered the spark, publishing at just sixteen! Now the author of the Nicole Raven series, Megan & Wonder and a published poet in the Worcestershire Young Poet Laureate Competition 2023. K. N. Grout is also a finalist in the Wishing Shelf Book Awards 2025 with her debut novel, Nicole Raven - A New Awakening, selected by children across UK schools.
