Andrew Lafleche is a Canadian poet and novelist writing transgressive and literary fiction. He is the author of more than a dozen books, including the auto-fiction best seller No Diplomacy, the novel Trident Legion, and multiple poetry collections exploring masculinity, addiction, trauma, and redemption. A recipient of the John Newlove Poetry Award and a member of the Writers’ Union of Canada, the Canadian Authors Association, and the League of Canadian Poets, his work has appeared in over 100 literary journals in North America and internationally. Lafleche is a former infantry soldier with the Royal Canadian Regiment and Afghanistan war veteran, who has also worked as a firefighter and first responder, experiences that shape the realism and intensity of his writing. He lives in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
