Originally from Jamaica, Algrish immigrated to the United States and built a distinguished career rooted in leadership, service, and impact. He served nearly three decades in the United States Army, retiring as a Command Sergeant Major after leading Soldiers and organizations in some of the most demanding environments worldwide. His military service earned numerous honors, including the Bronze Star Medal for his actions during combat operations in Iraq and the prestigious Legion of Merit.
Following his military retirement, Algrish successfully transitioned into the corporate sector, where he has held leadership roles within one of the nation’s leading financial institutions. His ability to bridge military leadership principles with corporate strategy has made him a respected voice on leadership, organizational culture, professional development, and veteran transition.
He is the Founder and Executive Director of the Williams Education Foundation, a nonprofit organization committed to empowering educators, supporting students, and strengthening communities through education and service. He is also the Founder and CEO of Williams Leadership Consulting, where he equips leaders and organizations with practical strategies centered on integrity, influence, communication, and authentic leadership.
