Al-Saadiq Banks is an urban fiction author, publisher, and filmmaker with over 23 years of experience in storytelling. He is best known for the Block Party series, which has built a strong and loyal readership across the United States and helped define his voice in modern urban fiction. Over the course of his career, Banks has sold more than 1.5 million books and developed a reputation for authentic, character-driven narratives rooted in loyalty, survival, ambition, and consequence.
