The Emperor's Dark Mage

I'm Maxim Temnikov, and unlike your typical twelve-year-old, I have the spirit of a necromancer living inside my head. I also study at a magic school where everyone is at least a few years older than me. And if that wasn't enough, I spend more time at the headmaster's office than I do in my room. Oh, I can also see ghosts. Cool, right? Well, it'd be, if they would stop bothering me with their nonsense. I'm not their therapist or social worker!

Well, they haven't kicked me out yet, so that's good news. And though I've made some enemies, I've also made some friends, too! Prince Alexey, the ghost Ibrahim, the cursed giant dwarf Hornborn, and the witch Lacrimosa. I even closed my first Distortion and destroyed a Curse! Oh, and did I mention that a necromancer named Dorian taught me how to use the Book of a Thousand Places to enter a special dimension called Tenedom? He has a house there! Also, if Dorian is to be believed, you can use the Book to speak to chaos demons.
