Ben is now Draco Rex the dragon king, and his dynasty is steadily growing. Buy new businesses to serve as fronts for my operations? Steal a few precious artifacts from those blue-blooded elves? Yep. All of the above, and we’ll kill anyone who gets in our way.

When the aliens came down and told us they’d enslave all of the human race if we didn’t send our bigliest warrior to participate in their arena death games, I laughed at them. It was really funny because they obviously didn’t know who they were dealing with. Know what I mean? Then they said they would pick the greatest warrior, and they picked Marc Havak. He seemed like such an average guy, but he was a true-blue American. He even worked as a truck driver! That’s the kind of good guy we want defending us from aliens.

I’m playing a dangerous game working for a crime syndicate while trying to overthrow them from within. And when the crime syndicate is working with our country’s mortal enemies to destroy our kingdom, and will do anything to keep that information private, I have tread very carefully. But thanks to my talented and beautiful girlfriends, and my ability to capture souls in gems to cast magical spells, nothing is going to stop me.

The best part of being a human is everyone constantly underestimates you, and that means they never see it coming when your dagger plunges into their heart. Our business is growing, but so is our list of enemies. Dwarven gangsters? The Assassins Guild? The commander of the Elven Guard? And they win bigly. But this audiobook, wow, this one is amazing. Intense action with yours truly saving the day and telling these alien losers how much they suck? You're hired.
