Jake wants to learn how to make his grandmother’s apple crisp—or as Jake likes to call it, "the best apple crisp in the world!" The only problem is his grandmother doesn’t use a recipe. With his uncle’s help, he must figure out the measurements of each ingredient. Will they be able to make the apple crisp together?

Owen’s mom won’t let him eat with his fingers. Instead, he has to use a fork! He doesn’t understand why he can’t use his fingers like his baby sister. To understand why he has to use a fork, Owen and his family go to the library to find out about the history of utensils.

When Oliver cannot see the difference between cows and horses, his mom takes him to the eye doctor for the first time! Oliver learns about the eye and how it allows him to see. Dr. Walker then shows him how he is able to tell if the eye is healthy! Will Oliver need to get glasses?

It’s Lydia’s birthday and her Uncle Joe won’t give any hints about his present, except that it’s bigger than he is! On Lydia’s birthday, Uncle Joe drives her to the zoo and shows her the big surprise – a baby giraffe named Dusty!
