  • 200 Days After Losing My Brother. Here's How I'm Training My Mind Through Grief.
    Apr 22 2026

⚠️ This episode discusses suicide and grief. If you or someone you know is struggling, support is available - see links below.

200 days since losing my brother Mike to suicide. I'm sick this week - proper cold, no energy - but it's actually given me something. I can finally tell the difference between a grief dip and just being ill. Spent weeks confused about that. Now I'm not.

I talk about how loss completely shrinks your comfort zone overnight. The everyday stuff you never think about - getting a coffee, chatting to people in your building - suddenly feels like too much. How you slowly expand it back out.

A line from Seth Godin that stuck with me: if you can make your life worse, you can also make it better. Why the world mirrors what you put into it. And why I nearly didn't hit record today but showed up anyway.

  • I Had a Two-Week Grief Slump. Here's What Got Me Back.

Mike's birthday and the six-month mark hit within a week of each other. I lost all energy, dropped my habits, and didn't leave the house. This is what getting back looked like - and why I think minimum viable effort is the thing that keeps you moving when everything feels heavy.

  • 6 Months Into Grief. This Week Was Hard.
    Apr 9 2026

⚠️ This episode discusses suicide and grief. If you or someone you know is struggling, support is available - see links below.

Last Monday was six months since we lost Mike. It also came right after his birthday. And even though I’ve had weeks where I’ve felt surprisingly good, this one was a real emotional dip.

In this check-in I talk about what that’s actually like in real time - how grief isn’t a straight line, how I’ve kept moving even when it’s heavy, and what helped this week (including releasing a track with my brother).
