This time, she is inspired by the idea of “breaking the habit of being myself,” as she shares her ongoing journey of releasing perfectionism, anxiety, negative self-talk, and fear through courage, community, love, and trust in the Divine. Jerry shares how purpose is not something we find outside ourselves, but something we reconnect with by listening inwardly and aligning with what feels most true. Drawing from his journey as a young artist in New York and his transformational work today, Jerry explores why so many people feel disconnected from purpose due to distractions, responsibilities, and external expectations. He explains that purpose is not the same as career or achievement—it’s about fulfillment, presence, and authentic expression. Tune in to explore what it really means to live on purpose, why purpose is not tied to career or performance, and how intuition, presence, and reconnecting with childhood joy can guide us back to ourselves. Jerry and Lynn also discuss meditation, trust, and the importance of quieting the external world to listen more deeply within. Jerry shares that purpose is ultimately an expression of love and closes by reflecting on his own soul purpose: bringing people together, helping others feel they belong, and empowering people to live more authentically through his “Awakening Purpose” destination retreats and global outreach work with I Am Humanity. May 7 2026
In this powerful episode, Dr. Lynn Hellerstein speaks with Glenn Sturm, bestselling author, astrophotographer, and 18 years on chemo and counting. Guided by values like “Sturms never quit,” Glenn shares how he pursues passion, spreads positivity, and refuses to let cancer define his life. From managing cancer fatigue to using simple remedies like ginger for nausea, Glenn shares practical ways to navigate treatment. Originally given 2.5 years to live, he’s now looking at 30—crediting team-based care and self-advocacy. Despite its benefits, multidisciplinary care faces barriers like insurance and provider resistance particularly in the United States. While it’s typical to find palliative care team and tumor boards in hospitals, it is more challenging to find a true multidisciplinary cancer care team. • Policy or Safety? The Traumatic Impact of Immigration Enforcement on Children with Gladis Molina (Episode #153)
    Apr 23 2026
Dr. Lynn Hellerstein sits down with Gladis Molina, an advocate for immigrant children and families, to explore the profound and often overlooked impact of immigration enforcement on young lives. In this episode, Gladis breaks down the layered risks families face today—from detention to forced separation. She explains how families are often placed into immigration custody, and how outcomes differ depending on a child’s citizenship status. In many cases, children who are U.S. citizens are left behind when their parents are detained, sometimes entering the child welfare system—creating deep emotional trauma for both parent and child. Gladis shares her own childhood experience growing up during civil unrest in El Salvador, reflecting on the lasting effects of being separated from her mother at a young age. That early trauma continues to shape her work today as she advocates for children navigating similar fears, loss, and uncertainty. The conversation also highlights how fear of enforcement is preventing families from seeking medical care, impacting children’s long-term health and well-being. Gladis emphasizes the urgent need for clear boundaries to protect sensitive spaces like schools and healthcare facilities. Despite these challenges, communities are stepping up—escorting children safely to school, raising awareness, and supporting families in crisis. Gladis discusses her work with the Young Center for Immigrant Children's Rights, including efforts to reunify children with deported parents and ways individuals can get involved. This episode is a powerful call to awareness and action, inviting listeners to reflect on their values, find courage in small acts, and support efforts that protect the safety and dignity of all children. • Staying Sharp: How Brain Science Can Combat Cognitive Decline with Dr. Therese Huston (Episode #152)
    Apr 16 2026
Dr. Lynn Hellerstein speaks with Dr. Therese Huston, cognitive neuroscientist, bestselling author, and TEDx speaker about simple, science-based ways to stay mentally sharp from her book Sharp: 14 Simple Ways to Improve Your Life with Brain Science, published by Mayo Clinic Press. Therese explains that cognitive decline isn’t just about aging—it’s shaped by sleep, heart health, exercise, education, and stress. She shares quick tools like a 5-minute sleep reset, list-making, and stress-reducing techniques such as self-touch and breathing exercises. While younger brains process information faster, older brains are better at pattern recognition and emotional regulation. Some forgetfulness is normal, but more serious issues may signal conditions like dementia and Alzheimer's disease. She also highlights that just 10 minutes of daily meditation—using tools like the Healthy Minds app—can help rebuild brain function. The episode wraps with how visualization can improve performance and goal achievement, offering practical ways to keep your brain strong at any age. • Redefining Longevity and Healing Injuries through Regenerative Medicine and Neurostimulation with Dr. Aneesh Garg (Episode #151)
    Apr 9 2026
Dr. Lynn Hellerstein of Vision Beyond Sight sits down with Dr. Aneesh Garg, nationally recognized non-surgical sports medicine physician and two-sport US National Team Physician, to talk about redefining longevity and healing injuries with regenerative medicine and neurostimulation. All of us can get injuries, and whether we take on the football field or the garden, we deserve care like we are athletes. As the lead physician of Dynamic Athlete Clinic, Dr. Garg challenges the archaic method of using steroid injections that only mask symptoms and fast-track patients into surgery. He discussed cutting edge regenerative treatments that actually target the diagnosis and work on the cellular level, such as PRP (platelet-rich plasma), stem cell (including MFAT and BMA), focused shockwave therapy and EMTT (extracorporeal magnetotransduction therapy). The goal is longevity and to “buy back time” by increasing the number of pain-free, active years. Success, according to Dr. Garg, means achieving results in the shortest effective treatment window, rather than dragging out care without much progress. Dr. Garg also talks about EXOMIND neurostimulation, a kind of transcranial magnetic stimulation that resets the nervous system, improves sleep, reduces anxiety and creates a mental environment that accelerates physical healing and makes you feel “Limitless.” He also touches on their clinic’s pelvic floor treatment program that works for urinary incontinence (in both men and women), performance enhancement and fall/injury prevention. While we now have a number of non-medication, nonsteroidal and non-surgical options available for injuries, Dr. Garg clarifies that not all regenerative treatments are created equal, and he gives research tips and sample questions in finding providers similar to Dynamic Athlete. Whether you're recovering from injury, managing chronic pain, or simply looking to extend your physical prime, this conversation offers a roadmap to a smarter, more sustainable approach to health and performance.
