About this listen

BYUradio presents The Christmas Chronicles, a Christmas story for radio that captures the magic and mystery of everyone’s favorite Yuletide character—Santa Claus. Commissioned by BYU Broadcasting, author Tim Slover’s work finally reveals “a true and complete history of Santa.” The series originated in accounts of the astonishing life and activities of Santa, recalled and told by the author, Tim Slover, to his children over the years. It all started with a strictly scientific answer to a child’s classic question: “How does Santa deliver all those toys all over the world in just one night?” That’s the query that unlocked the grand adventure to keep the magic in and the cynicism of the world at bay. Written by: Tim Slover Narrated by: Tim Slover and Richard Johnstone Music by: Robert Rowberry Technical Producer: Jacqueline Tateishi Producer: Judith Olauson Tourney Production Assistance: Juan Mijares Executive Producer: Walter B. Beautiful story of how Santa came to be. Definitely an uplifting Christmas spirited story. Don’t ignore the message towards the end! The musical accompaniments really bring the readings to life. Love some of the famous lines we know added as if this is where they sprung from! Definitely one to read to the (older) kids too! Will be listening every Christmas time !

On the surface, this story comes across as harmless fun. it's about Santa Claus after all.
To many, it is just a lovely Christmas story. And yes, Klaus does seem to be that kind of a person. However, when you realise who he is meant to be then this whole story is completely different. Klaus is the Mormon Jesus. That's correct folks this is Mormonism ideology. The book at the beginning is the Book of Mormon. The Anerican represents Joseph Smith, who was also American.
Ralf Eckhof is Lucifer, or Satan.
At the beginning he and Klaus are part of the Carpenters Guild. in Mormonism Jesus and Lucifer are part of Heavenly Father's council. In fact they are meant to be brothers.
Even Anna is the perfect Mormon wife, who dies and is resurrected to life. In Mormonism, they believe that marriage is for all eternity. Klaus is made a Saint. in Mormonism they believe you can become god's.
This comes across as harmless festive fun,but don't fall for the trap, this is Mormon indoctrination without a doubt.
I will say one thing they got correct. Santa Claus is complete fiction, just like their Mormon theology and their Jesus. So for that, I will agree.
And If you think I'm making this up, then Google BYU Radio, where this story can be streamed. Then look up what BYU stands for. Now who BY is.

Nice Try guys, but you didn't fool me.

An interesting twist
