The book is a domestic thriller about two estranged sisters, Chloe and Nicky, who must reunite after Chloe's husband, Adam (Nicky's ex-husband), is murdered, and Chloe's teenage stepson, Ethan, becomes the prime suspect. The novel follows the sisters as they work together to clear Ethan's name, forcing them to confront their complicated past and buried family secrets, all while navigating a media frenzy and a tense murder trial.
