Jonah lived in Israel in the 8th century BC, a long time ago. In those days, God often sent messages through individuals who were called ‘prophets.’ While most prophets received messages for the people of Israel, Jonah had a rather unusual assignment, one that made him run the opposite direction!

What was this message? Will Jonah ever agree to do what God was asking him?
