  • By Their Fruits You Shall Know Them: What Jesus Really Means – SSPX Sermons
    Jul 13 2026
The Gospel is replete with Our Lord's sayings and these sayings are drawn from the everyday experiences and lives of His listeners. These expressions, albeit simple on the surface, have now become integral to the manner in which we express ourselves even today. One of the most well known is Jesus's statement, "By their fruits you shall know them." It is very important that we deeply understand the wisdom of this and all of Our Lord's expressions lest we apply them superficially. "By their fruits..." reinforces a timeless truth that from the effects of certain persons or actions, we can come to know the nature of the source.

What is the SSPX Podcast? The SSPX Podcast is produced by Angelus Press, which has as its mission the fortification of traditional Catholics so that they can defend the Faith, and reaching out to those who have not yet found Tradition. What is the SSPX? The main goal of the Society of Saint Pius X is to preserve the Catholic Faith in its fullness and purity, to teach its truths, and to diffuse its virtues, especially through the Roman Catholic priesthood. Authentic spiritual life, the sacraments, and the traditional liturgy are its primary means of bringing this life of grace to souls. Although the traditional Latin Mass is the most visible and public expression of the work of the Society, we are committed to defending Catholic Tradition in its entirety: all of Catholic doctrine and morals as the Church has always defended them. What people need is the Catholic Faith, without compromise, with all the truth and beauty which accompanies it. https://sspx.org

  • Do Not Be Afraid – SSPX Sermons
    Jul 9 2026
The extraordinary consecrations that took place on July 1 are a cause of great joy. Yet the response from Rome, which includes but is not limited to, excommunicating the bishops and priests of the Society of Saint Pius X can be both a source of fear and bitterness. There are faithful who fear they are now outside of what they love, namely Holy Mother Church. And given the unjust and extremely harsh response from Rome, many are tempted to give in to bitterness. These responses are, to an extent, understandable, yet they must be resisted for they destroy the spirit of Christian charity. The crisis in the Church continues, but so too does the Society's mission to form authentic Catholic priests for the salvation of souls.

  • Understanding Charity Can Change Your Life – SSPX Sermons
    Jul 6 2026
God does not command what is impossible. What does it mean to love God with our whole mind, heart, and strength? This is not an emotional sentiment. It means preferring something in creation over Him, even when it is objectively sinful. Loving God is exhibited through not wanting to offend God even in the little things. To assist us in this, we must recognize that God loves us.
