  • The Women That Were Failed: Remembering Naomi & Fiona
    Apr 14 2026

When Naomi Hunte was found murdered in her own home, the police had a prime suspect. Naomi had called the police four times, on a man called Carl Cooper, she told them that he had been stalking her and subjecting her to abuse, but nothing was done.

The police found a knife with Naomi's blood on it in Carl's home, CCTV showed him in the area just before he died, as well as mobile phone data that shows they spoke on the phone on the night she was killed. But still.... he was bailed and back out on the streets after the police said they didn't have enough evidence to charge him.

Carl was free to date again... and he targeted a vulnerable woman called Fiona Holm. Fiona was never told that Carl was on bail for suspected murder, despite calling the police after he attacked her. And soon, the police would be investigating a double murder.

    This is REAL.

  • 'I'm Fighting the Law for my Sister'
    Apr 7 2026

This episode is from my show 'REAL LIVES' - as I recover from a nasty illness and prepare to celebrate a big birthday in a few days time, I'm sharing an incredibly heartbreaking case from a brother who has suffered unfathomable loss and is now fighting for his sister.

TRIGGER WARNING: This episode contains references to domestic violence and suicide. Whilst the descriptions are not explicit, please take extra care whilst listening.

In March 2023, Danielle Haggarty was found unresponsive in the flat of a man she was dating on and off for eight years. The circumstance's in this case revealed a disturbing fact - it's not a crime to witness someone dying and not call for help.

Today we're joined by Danielle's brother Jonathan, whose life has been shaped by a series of unimaginable losses, and he is now on a mission to change the law in his sisters name.

    This is REAL LIVES.

  • EP 1: His Name Was Stuart Lubbock 'Some Geezer's Drowned In The Pool'
    Mar 31 2026

*It's been 25 Years since Stuart Lubbock was found raped and murdered in the swimming pool of TV presenter Michael Barrymore - this series, has been re-recorded and includes additional reporting from the first series released in 2022*.

Imagine going to a nightclub, meeting a national celebrity and being invited back to their house for a party... cool right?

Well... not if that party would mean the end of your life.

This is a tragic true story, that has many twists and turns and feels like the script of a Hollywood Blockbuster, but it's real life.

In the first episode, we tell the story of the last 12 hours of Stuart Lubbock's life and what happened that night, at the home of one of the UK's biggest television stars, Michael Barrymore.

If you have any information on this case please contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
