  • Meet the Former Cop Pushing Mamdani’s Agenda
    May 19 2026

On this episode of The Finest Unfiltered, we break down the 180 of former NYPD officer Shamsul Haque, who is now running for New York State Assembly District 30 with the endorsement of Bernie Sanders and support from progressive political circles aligned with Zohran Mamdani’s agenda.

We examine how a former police officer became connected to policies and political movements many critics believe are contributing to weakened public safety, anti-police rhetoric and radical changes across New York City.

The finest discusses the future of NYC politics, criminal justice reform, policing, protest movements, public safety policy and whether Mamdani-style politics are rapidly expanding beyond city government into state politics. Is this the future of New York?

From NYPD insight to NYC politics and crime analysis, this is the unfiltered conversation legacy media won’t have.
