She believes we are always stronger when we work together, and she has learned that meaningful change happens when people are willing to listen, build trust, and focus on what truly matters. Cindy leads with the kind of empathy and understanding she wants extended to her own family.

Cindy received a bachelor’s degree in sociology from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She earned two master’s degrees in elementary education and school administration from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Cindy is a member of the National Association of Bilingual Educators (NABE) and the Nevada Association of School Administrators.

Dr. Aneury "Reese" Morales is a bilingual educational leader with more than two decades of experience advancing equity, student achievement, and community engagement across Connecticut. He currently serves as the director of communications and community outreach for Ansonia Public Schools in Connecticut. Reese has created bilingual programs, supported immigrant and multilingual learners, and developed innovative opportunities including international learning experiences and college access initiatives.

Reese received a bachelor’s degree in psychology and Spanish from Southern Connecticut State University. He holds a master’s degree in elementary education from the University of Bridgeport. Reese earned a doctorate in instructional leadership from Argosy University.

Dr. Amy Gonzales was a teacher, academic dean, assistant principal, and principal for the Austin Independent School District in Texas. She is the co-author of The Principal All Communities Deserve and is currently working on her second book, which is a social media memoir. Amy worked as a team leader and lead mentor teacher and developed several family engagement programs.

Amy received a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.
