  • The Fire or the Facade: Biblical Christianity vs Cultural Christianity (Part 2)
    May 15 2026

In Part 2 of this ongoing series on Biblical Christianity vs Cultural Christianity, we go deeper into the heart of the divide between outward religion and inward transformation.

This episode explores how cultural Christianity often becomes centered around image, morality, politics, behavior modification, and social identity — while biblical Christianity begins with genuine heart transformation through Christ.

    We unpack:

    • Why cultural Christianity is often external while biblical Christianity is inward
    • The dangers of performative faith and appearance-based spirituality
    • How church culture can unintentionally exasperate children and create burnout
    • The importance of balance, fellowship, rest, and authentic discipleship
    • Lessons from the Desert Fathers and Saint Anthony on spiritual balance
    • How media, outrage, politics, and offense can “jam” spiritual discernment
    • The metaphor of spiritual antennas and staying connected to God’s voice
    • Why both political extremes can misuse the Gospel for social agendas
    • The difference between salvation and simple behavior modification
    • Why many believers struggle with faith that was never internally rooted
    • How authentic transformation produces spiritual fruit over time
    • The danger of “whitewashed tomb” Christianity
    • The shift from outward striving to deeper communion with God as faith matures

This conversation is reflective, challenging, and deeply personal — examining modern church culture, spiritual burnout, hypocrisy, media influence, discipleship, discernment, and what it truly means to abide in Christ rather than merely appear religious.

If you’ve ever wrestled with shallow faith, church performance culture, political Christianity, or the tension between outward religion and inward transformation, this episode is for you.

  • Easter Reflections: From Cross to Fire: The Story of Easter, Resurrection, and Pentecost
    Apr 26 2026

    Send us Fan Mail

Now that we’ve had time to sit with Easter, this episode steps back into the story—not to revisit it briefly, but to follow the full thread of what actually happened and why it still matters.

Beginning with the triumphal entry into Jerusalem, we trace the journey of Jesus Christ through the tension of expectation, the weight of the crucifixion, and the depth of what was accomplished on the cross. More than a moment of suffering, the cross becomes the turning point—fulfilling what was set in motion long before through the Old Testament and revealing Jesus as the true Passover Lamb, bridging heaven and earth.

But the story doesn’t end there.

After the resurrection, Jesus was not just gone from the grave—He was seen. He walked with His followers, spoke with them, and revealed Himself over a 40-day period. These encounters grounded the resurrection in reality and began connecting everything: what happened at the cross, what had been foretold, and what was about to come next.

In this season between Easter and Pentecost, we explore why that waiting period matters.

Because after those 40 days, Jesus ascended—and the message left behind was clear:
    He will return.

And until then, there is a calling.

    This episode ties together:

    • The meaning behind Palm Sunday and the recognition of Jesus as Messiah
    • The weight and reality of the crucifixion
    • The resurrection as a witnessed, transformational event
    • How Jesus fulfilled Old Testament patterns and prophecy
    • The significance of the 40 days after Easter
    • The ascension and the promise that points directly to Pentecost

This isn’t just a reflection—it’s a continuation of the story.

Because Easter wasn’t the finish line.
It was the beginning of what comes next.
