  • What Men are Thinking When They’re Dating feat. Niko Emanuilidis
    Apr 13 2026
We have the dean of Daddy Academy himself, Niko Emanuilidis, back on GGE to spill all the tea on the male POV. We talk about low effort dating (does a coffee date mean he’s not interested?), why guys don’t confirm a date the day of, how long a dating break should last, and if you can win someone back once they’ve pulled away. Then we dive into the four phases of dating someone (essentially the first three months) and we LOVE this conversation and breakdown – how each phase should play out, what you should find out about a potential partner in each phase, how things change after sex, why and how men “vet backwards,” when to discuss being official, the difference between being exclusive and being boyfriend/girlfriend (we debate this one!), and the point at which you should call it if things aren’t clear. Before Niko joins us, Ashley reveals a regretful thing she did at the airport and Rayna headlined a sushi restaurant unintentionally. Enjoy! I got recommended this podcast thru another podcast I love and listen to. apparently GGE is very popular/successful so there were many episodes for my to scroll thru for my first listen. I chose hoe phase cos it sounded fun and got to work cleaning my kitchen. 23 minutes in and they had not even started the discussion regarding the hoe phase, they're still talking about sponsors, affiliations, random anecdotes but fine they are kinda funny and whatever they say is mildly entertaining and I kept listening. then the guest comes on they talk about a hoe phase for 7 minutes and back to more ads and sponsors. in currently 40 mins in and have heard less than 10 minutes about the topic. you can tell they have die hard fans how probably love the stream of consciousness vibe but as a first time listener it was annoying that they never touch the topic.

so many ads so much rambling
