  • Lesbian renaissance 💞, tree-hugging first dates 🌳 and why the queer community needs more grace 🌈 with Char Bailey
    May 15 2026

On this special live episode Rosie is joined by coach, activist, and Birmingham Pride Director Char Bailey to talk about the queer community, dating while healing, and what it means to truly belong to yourself 🌈

They dive into Char’s experience of dating women in the 90s and 00s as a Black lesbian, navigating racism within queer spaces, internalising harmful beauty standards, and struggling to figure out where she fit in. Char opens up about how those experiences shaped the people she dated, and why her idea of a “type” has completely changed over the years 💌

The two also unpack the current state of the queer community, from the rise of the “lesbian renaissance” to the infighting and rigid labels that can leave people feeling isolated rather than supported. Char shares why she believes queer spaces need more grace, acceptance, and room for people to evolve without judgement ✨

Of course, Rosie and Char get into dating and flirting, including the awkwardness of queer eye contact, struggling to read signals, and why energetic chemistry between women can feel so intense. Char also tells the story of her first date with her partner Megan, to which somehow hugging a tree together became the greenest flag imaginable 🌳

They discuss identity, representation, and visibility online, with Char reflecting on what it means to move through the world as a Black autistic lesbian and why it’s so important for queer people who don’t fit the “palatable” mould to still feel seen and celebrated.

And finally, they reflect on what really makes someone Girlfriend Material - choosing yourself first, growing into who you truly are, and finding people who love you through every version of that journey 💞

  • “Wait… am I gay?” 😵‍💫, coming out later in life 💌, and trusting the psychic 🔮 with Star Holroyd
    May 1 2026

This week Rosie is joined by Star Holroyd to unpack her journey to queerness, from navigating years of dating men, to finally acting on her attraction to women in her 30s, and trusting in her psychic to find her the love of her life 🌈

They chat about Star’s journey from making TikToks during lockdown to becoming known for her millennial humour, and how comedy became her way of making sense of her life. Star opens up about knowing she liked women from a young age, but not fully acting on it until her 30s - proving that there’s no timeline when it comes to figuring yourself out 💌

The two get into the chaos of dating men when all you’re actually thinking about are boobs and meal prepping, and how one date with the right person can completely change everything. Star shares her story of meeting her now fiancée, and how a psychic (yes, really) played a part in bringing them back together 🔮

They also talk about the differences between coming out younger vs later in life, from navigating dating culture to feeling more grounded in who you are. Star reflects on how maturity gave her the confidence to embrace her identity fully, while Rosie shares her own experience of figuring things out earlier and the overwhelm that can come with it ✨

From Pinterest boards that suddenly make sense to planning a queer wedding and sharing that journey online, this episode is a celebration of growth, timing, and trusting that you’ll get there when you’re meant to 💞

  • Dating as a trans woman 💌, finding real love 💞, and blocking out the noise ✨ with Cambell Kenneford
    Apr 24 2026

This week Rosie is joined by content creator and beauty icon Cambell Kenneford to talk about trans identity, self-expression, and what it really means to live authentically 🌈

They get into navigating the world as a trans woman at a time when things feel increasingly conservative, and how Cambell protects her peace without disconnecting from reality. She shares how she’s built her own sense of joy through social media, and why representation matters when you grow up without seeing people like you reflected back 💞

Cambell opens up about her journey with transitioning, from knowing who she was at a young age to making the life-changing decision that ultimately saved her life. She reflects on the role her mum played in supporting her, and the importance of choosing and being yourself, even when it’s difficult 💌

The two also dive into femininity, unpacking the expectations placed on women and how Cambell redefined what womanhood means to her. From once feeling like she had to perform femininity, to now feeling most like herself in a relationship with her fiancée, they explore how love can shift the way you see yourself ✨
