Welcome back to Dallas Famous Extras. Tucker Art Projects is about to open its doors in Deep Ellum, and the very first exhibit in the space is Fermata, a solo concert photography show. I sat down with Scott and Melissa Tucker to talk about how the gallery came together, what drew them to Deep Ellum, and what they're building with Tucker Art Projects. Melissa shares a bit of her own background, and we get into the journey from musician to concert photographer, the stories behind the work, and what it means to open a new art space in Dallas right now.
