Late in 1991, a child said something strange to his mother: ‘I don’t like Peter’s black penis.’ Believing this was an indication that her son was being abused by Peter Ellis, a 33-year-old employee at the Christchurch Civic Creche her son attended, the concerned mother quickly filed a report. The case would soon snowball into one of New Zealand’s biggest and most controversial criminal cases…

I love this podcast, being a true crime fanatic there is no better then Casefiles. I’ve listen to every single episode.

Great in-depth, actually feels like your at the crime scene. The narrator is perfect, yes there is a few ads but they’re giving you this for free!

My only thing I would like to see is longer episodes i love it that much.

The most thoroughly researched true crime podcasts that I have listened to and I have listened and watched an obscene amount. The narrator is easy to listen to. These are stories of real people and obviously the effects of all the cases ripple through families and communities, people should be remembered and their stories told, it's the least anyone can do. The podcasts are always told in an empathic way and many are cases I haven't heard before which is good.

True Crime coverage at its best.
