  • Dungeon Crawler Carl - Part 1
    May 10 2026

Grab your caffeinated beverage, this one is absolutely unhinged. (In the best way!)

This week we're talking "Dungeon Crawler Carl" by Matt Dinniman. The world ends and aliens turn it into a galactic cable game show. Survival suddenly means leveling up, fighting monsters, and somehow staying alive long enough to entertain an audience.

We get into the humor, the madness, and why this book is way more fun than it has any right to be.

Let's just say... we weren't expecting to like it this much!

Perfect for fans of LitRPG, dark humor, survival stories, and action-packed book discussions.

Join us for a thoughtful, caffeine filled conversation about growth, curiosity, and the unexpected power of a good book.

Perfect for fans of contemporary fiction, cozy reads, personal growth stories, and book club style discussions.

  • Animal Farm
    Apr 12 2026

Grab your caffeinated beverage folks - this one's deeper than it looks.

"All animals are equal... but some are more equal than others."

In this episode, we break down "Animal Farm" by George Orwell. It's a short but powerful story that exposes how power can corrupt even the best of intentions. From rebellion to control, we explore how quickly ideals can shift and what this timeless allegory reveals about society.

Join us as we discuss the story, the symbolism, and the uncomfortable truths behind it.

Perfect for fans of classic literature, political allegories, and book club-style podcast discussions.

Ashley's Drink Recipe: Add one tbsp of cookie butter to your espresso cup. Brew one (or two if you're feeling frisky) shot of espresso (or use instant!) over the cookie butter. Give it a good mix and add a pinch of salt. Pour over a cup of ice with about 6 oz of your choice of milk. If you like a cold topper, froth 2 tbsp's of your favorite creamer. We like Horizon Organic Chantilly Sweet Cream or Coffee Mate Hazelnut and pour on top. Enjoy!
