• Big Shot Bob – Ep 261 – Like a White Girl in a Scary Movie
    May 27 2026
Robert Horry, Rob Jenners, and Brandon Harper break down everything that matters in the NBA right now — and a few things that don't. Big Shot Bob is hosting a baby shower and hiding from 50 women, so naturally it's the perfect time to talk basketball. We dig deep into the OKC Thunder vs San Antonio Spurs Western Conference Finals with Game 6 on the horizon. The Spurs have been in a fistfight but the young bulls keep letting emotion get in the way. Robert has firsthand thoughts on what Gregg Popovich's halftime speeches actually do to a team — and a legendary story about the one time Pop yelled at him. Spoiler: Robert laughed. Wemby is the conversation. He joined Bill Walton as the only player in NBA history with 300 points, 150 rebounds, and 50 blocks in their first postseason. But is he doing enough? We debate whether he needs to go full Kobe — get on the block and tell everybody to get out of the way — and why his grace and his aggression can coexist. Over in the East, we put the Cleveland Cavaliers series loss to the Knicks through the shredder. James Harden's stat line across four games is... rough. The coaching staff takes heat. And Kenny Atkinson already confirmed he's coming back next season, plus there are rumors of a Harden extension that have us concerned for Cleveland's future. The flopping debate is real. A San Antonio fan brought a mini Oscar for SGA. Jay Williams called it exhausting. Robert says put some defense back in the damn game and Adam Silver needs to call in some old heads to sort it out. Plus: All-NBA teams are set, Jalen Brunson takes home the Larry Bird Trophy, the All-Rookie team is announced, and a man in Ohio jumps into a pond to save a mother and daughter — your Big Shot of the Week. Then we run Conference Finals Chaos — a trivia game covering NBA history milestones from this postseason. Longest Finals drought, back-to-back champions, three-peat MVP winners, and more. • Big Shot Bob – Shoot Around Ep 134 – Tim Dropped His Bible
    May 22 2026

Big Shot Bob is back and he's got thoughts on everything — Kevin Durant's mounting reputation problem, a boxing night gone sideways, and the fight stories you didn't know you needed to hear.

This week on Shoot Around, Rob Jenners, Brandon Harper, and NBA legend Robert Horry break down the Ronda Rousey vs. Gina Carano Netflix disaster (17 seconds, folks), revisit the Mayweather-Pacquiao letdown, and get into whether KD is officially more trouble than he's worth — Colin Cowherd's "boat analogy" sets off a whole debate. Then it's athletes who threw it all away (Latrell Sprewell and Dennis Rodman get called out), Peyton Manning's diabolical trash talk strategy, and some genuinely unhinged public fight stories to close things out.

Plus: Horry on the worst smells he's ever encountered, Edwin Diaz and the cockfighting controversy, and Robert Horry quietly admitting he jumped on someone's bad knee and then stepped aside while they ran into a backboard. Just another week.

  • Big Shot Bob – Ep 260 – No Cartilage In Their Knees
    May 20 2026

Robert Horry, Rob Jenners, and Brandon Harper are back for episode 260 of the Big Shot Bob Podcast — and they had to wait a day to drop it because the NBA couldn't stop cooking.

Victor Wembanyama dropped 41 points and 24 rebounds in a double-overtime thriller against OKC — including a pull-up three from basically the logo that had Robert Horry's jaw on the floor. The guys break down what it means for the West Finals, why Stephon Castle needs to cut the turnovers, and whether Alex Caruso was really the right guy to put on a 7-foot alien.

Then there's Cleveland. The Cavs had a 99.9% win probability with eight minutes left and handed it right back to Jalen Brunson and the Knicks. Robert Horry has strong feelings about James Harden, Kenny Atkinson's timeout usage, and what happens to Cleveland's chances if they don't wake Donovan Mitchell up.

Plus: Jason Kidd gets fired in Dallas, SGA wins back-to-back MVPs and showers the Thunder roster with AP watches and Burberry trench coats (Dream and Shaq could never), Shams Charania blows up Prime Video's big MVP moment, Anthony Edwards daps up the Spurs bench with eight minutes still on the clock, and Jamal Mosley lands a head coaching job faster than most guys find an apartment.

The crew also plays Championship Connection — a new game where Rob gives Robert Horry a championship team and finds out who he shared the floor with. The '96 Bulls, '03 Spurs, '04 Pistons and more come up. The answers will surprise you.

  • Big Shot Bob – Shoot Around Ep 133 – The D In Front of Raymond
    May 15 2026

It's Friday, which means it's time for the bonus show. Episode 133 of Shoot Around kicks off with some genuinely surprising news — Alperen Sengun was voted the NBA's most overrated player by his own peers in The Athletic's annual poll. Seven-time champion Robert Horry weighs in on whether that reputation is fair, what Jeff Teague said about swag, and which players would actually top the overrated list if the guys had a vote.

Then it's straight into the Kevin Hart Roast — specifically the clips of Draymond Green catching shots from Tom Brady, Shane Gillis, Jeff Ross, and The Rock. The guys break down the best lines of the night and give Draymond his flowers for actually holding his own on the mic.

After that, a legendary clip courtesy of a listener: Vernon Maxwell on All The Smoke telling the full story of Hakeem Olajuwon slapping him in the locker room at halftime. Robert Horry was there for the Rockets at the time, so yeah — this one gets personal.

And then things take a turn. A Frontier Airlines plane struck a pedestrian who'd somehow made it onto the runway at Denver International Airport — and the guys react to the cockpit audio. From there, the show ends on a high note: the story of Jessica Holloway, the Tampa mom who set up a folding table at a U8 girls soccer game and started selling homemade wine to the other parents out of an Igloo cooler. Her menu included "Referee Tears" at $15 a jar. She was arrested. The guys are outraged on her behalf.

  • Big Shot Bob – Ep 259 – Unemployment
    May 12 2026

Seven-time NBA champion Robert Horry, B-Dog Brandon Harper, and Rob Jenners break down everything happening in the 2025 playoffs — and there's a LOT to get into on Episode 259.

The Thunder are rolling. OKC swept the Lakers to go 8-0 in the playoffs so far, doing it without Jalen Williams and doing it in convincing fashion. Big Shot Bob gives his honest take on LA's future — including whether Austin Reaves deserves $250 million, what LeBron's exit interview really signals, and why the Lakers keep running into the same wall every spring.

Then the guys get into Victor Wembanyama's elbow on Naz Reid — Rob makes the case he should've been suspended, and breaks down exactly why the NBA's handling of it sets a bad precedent. Should the league have at least hit him with a fine? Everyone agrees on that one. We also dig into what NOT suspending Wemby says about how the NBA protects its stars, and whether that chips away at what's fair for everyone else on the floor.

In the East, the Knicks swept the Sixers out — 25 threes, a 30-point blowout, and Knicks fans completely taking over Philly's arena. The boys break down what that team is actually capable of, and size up whoever's coming out of the Pistons-Cavs series to face them. Spoiler: neither team looks ready.

Plus: the Washington Wizards win the draft lottery, Draymond takes a shot at Charles Barkley on Inside the NBA (and the guys have some thoughts on that), Steve Kerr's Warriors extension, Jaylen Brown's $50K fine for calling out Joel Embiid on Twitch, and the Big Shout of the Week goes to a 73-year-old music teacher from England who remortgaged his house to save his neighborhood pub.

We close it out with this week's game — All-Time Playoff Runs — testing Big Shot Bob on some of the best postseason win streaks in NBA history. Does he know the Warriors' 2017 run better than he thinks? Let's find out.

  • Big Shot Bob – Shoot Around Ep 132 – The Real Meaning of Cinco de Mayo
    May 8 2026

It's a Friday, which means it's time for another Shoot Around — the show where we throw everything at the wall and see what sticks.

Big Shot Bob himself, Robert Horry, is back in the building for Episode 132, and this one goes all over the place. We kick things off reacting to Skip Bayless returning to First Take for a one-time reunion with Stephen A. Smith. Nobody asked for it, everybody's gonna watch it — including us. But it raises a fair question: are you tuning in because you actually enjoy them, or just because it's been so long that nostalgia has you by the throat?

From there we got into what TV reunions we'd actually want to see, which somehow turned into Rob getting volunteered — live, on the spot — to host a new version of NBA Inside Stuff with Ahmad Rashad's old job. He ran with it. Like, really ran with it. The man had co-host candidates locked and loaded (Cheryl Miller, Monica McNutt, and others get a mention), a vision for the show, and apparently more enthusiasm for a job he doesn't have than the one he does. Incredible.

Then things got weird. A United Airlines plane clipped a bakery truck on the Jersey Turnpike on approach to Newark — and we had the audio. That set off a whole conversation about terrifying aviation moments, NBA team charter planes, which franchises had the nicest setups (Dallas and Portland apparently had the goods), and the time Rob was sitting next to Butter Bean on a late-night flight when the guy in front of them went completely still and his wife lost her mind thinking he was dead. Spoiler: sleep paralysis.

A listener named Richie sent in a question after a wild JP Morgan story broke this week — a guy fabricated a sexual harassment case, it went everywhere before anyone fact-checked it, and the woman got dragged online for days before the truth came out. That opened the door for Rob to share a story he's apparently never told publicly: the time a woman he didn't even know filed a false harassment claim against him with the Lakers, complete with unsolicited fan mail that's... a lot. We won't spoil the details. But it ended with Rob's lawyer sorting it out after discovering the same woman had done it to three other people.

We wrapped up with a question from Vic about the Mandalorian movie dropping near May the 4th, Star Wars fatigue, and whether Marvel is stuck in the same trap — giving away so much for free on streaming that nobody wants to pay for the theatrical version anymore. Then, naturally, it was Cinco de Mayo (Taco Tuesday edition), which meant Rob had to explain a very chaotic night in Austell, Georgia, a sombrero, a man in a full Transformer outfit, and getting home at 3 AM.

Friday energy. All the way through.

Seven-time NBA champion Robert Horry and co-hosts Rob Jenners and Brandon Harper welcome CBS Sports and media personality Scoop B Robinson to episode 258 of the Big Shot Bob Podcast. • Big Shot Bob – Shoot Around Ep 131 – Phil and I Never Had a Conversation
    May 1 2026

It's Friday and the Big Shot Bob crew is back with Episode 131 of Shoot Around — the weekly bonus show where Robert Horry, Rob Jenners, and B-Dog Brandon Harper dig into the questions YOU send in and whatever's on their minds.

This week kicks off with a debate born from the new Michael Jackson biopic hitting theaters: Start, Bench, Cut — MJ era edition. The Thriller era (1982–85), the Bad era (1987–89), and the Dangerous era (1991–94) are all on the table. Which era do you start? Which do you bench? Which do you cut? The guys break down their picks, argue over the greatest MJ music videos of all time (Smooth Criminal vs. Remember the Time), debate whether Chris Tucker was actually IN Smooth Criminal (he wasn't), and Harper goes deep on the Ghost mini-movie that almost nobody's seen. The verdict? Unanimous love for Thriller, but serious disagreement on whether Bad or Dangerous gets the bench.

Then the guys jump into the all-time greatest NBA coaches debate, sparked by Pat Riley making it clear at 81 years old that he has zero plans to retire or step aside. Phil Jackson, Pat Riley, Gregg Popovich, Don Nelson, Lenny Wilkins, Red Auerbach — who makes the cut? Robert Horry gives a unique firsthand perspective on Phil Jackson, including the detail that Phil literally never spoke to him during their championship runs together. There's also the Del Harris comparison — same roster, completely different results — and what that says about coaching being as much about managing personalities as drawing up plays.

A Reddit user's anti-tanking beer pricing proposal gets a quick airing, and then the crew weighs in on Diego Pavia going undrafted after representing himself at the NFL Draft — no agent, no deal. Robert Horry reflects on firing his own agent in 2001 and what he missed out on off the court despite winning six championships, and the guys debate whether being your own representative ever actually works when you're already fighting an uphill battle.

To close things out, a fan question about the best superhero shows ever made opens up a great conversation about Invincible (currently must-watch TV), The Boys, Smallville, The Flash, Dragon Ball Z, the upcoming Mortal Kombat film, and a He-Man movie trip that Robert Horry is already planning with his son. Plus — the case for a live-action Thundercats reboot that the world is clearly not ready for.
