Hayek observed that collectivist ideologies — regardless of their stated intentions — tend toward the same outcome: the concentration of decision-making power in state hands, and the corresponding reduction of freedom in private life. The question is never whether progressive ideology advocates for tyranny, but whether the logic of its goals leads there regardless.
