Lord Rettendon employs James the gardener to maintain the grounds of his large manor House. An electrical storm forces them to take shelter inside the garage and as doing so, a lightning strike knocks the two of them unconscious and an out of body experiences occur for both. Upon revival, the spirits become confused as they descend from the zenith above and the soul of Lord Rettendon enters into the body of James the gardener and vice versa. Lord Rettendon is now forced to live the life of a gardener and become a member of the working class, whereas, James enjoys his new aristocracy lifestyle immensely—but for how long can it continue?
