Excellent, as usual, although higher up being incompetent, sleazy and corrupt, is trite and a bit lazy, surely they will now value Maud.

this is the third in the Maud O'connor series prior knowledge of the previous books is not required. another well written mystery kept me guessing until the end and well narrated
