I liked both of these narrators. They expressed the story well.😍
Humans are very poor on this planet and often the best way for their familys to survive is for them to have a blood test at the temples and hope they get gentically matched for marriage to one of the worlds monsters, for a price!😳💰
This is exactly what happens with Lucy and Aldrig, King of the Ice Giants.🥶
He's very kind and gentle with her, which she didn't expect, but is very grateful for. She only reaches his bully button after all.🤯 It turns into a love match and ends up benefiting both of their races, eventually!💘
I really wish this was longer. I had NO idea I was only getting a novella for my audible credit, so I do feel a bit cheated. When you consider I got the likes of 'Alchemised' and 'Onyx Storm' for only a credit too, they're not really comparable in time or length!😔🤷🏻♀️

Beyond that the story is dreadful. A bad teenage drama at best. Unrealistic, with poor story lines. The “maid” refusing the female lead (Queen) information unless she eats? When they had just met, so no relationship standing to base it on. The overused virgin trope. Unrealistic story line with the brother. Unrealistic behaviours and actions that wouldn’t happen, kill immersion.
Very disappointing.
