Claire Redding, a rising star within Police Scotland, is being fast-tracked for greater things. Having played a key role in bringing down a major drugs gang in Glasgow, Claire is promoted to the position of Detective Inspector and transferred to "L" Division in Dumbarton. She is tasked with solving a series of local burglaries which all have one thing in common: They appear to be perfect crimes.

DI Redding firmly believes that there's no such thing as a perfect crime and is determined to catch the elusive thief and further enhance her career. The pressure builds on the ambitious young DI when the burglaries are linked to a murder, and she is given the opportunity of a lifetime to make her mark! However, it soon becomes clear that the thief will not hesitate to kill anyone who gets in his way as the story races to a dramatic and violent ending.

This is a very good short listen. The characters are interesting and well developed. The storyline is simple, a burglar is robbing people in what seems to be the perfect crime, doesn't seem to make mistakes... or does he? A most enjoyable listen from start to finish. Grant Loves narration is superb and really brings the story to life. Highly recommended listen and I look forward to more of Andrews work and Grants narrations..
I was kindly given a copy of the book and leave this honest review.

Really enjoyed the story and the characters- some unexpected twists and will definitely appeal to anyone from the Dumbarton area given all the local places used in the story.

This Is an interesting but short, detective story that did have me chuckling at the idea of police actually investigating burglary, that never happens unless people are seriously injured or the items stolen are antiques or art of great value so I had a good chuckle at that idea.
The story takes a darker turn though and the mystery deepens.
The story is a little light on detail in some places but overall its a great little tale with great narration too.

I was lucky enough to receive my copy free of charge in exchange for my honest review, which is what you have here.
