About this listen

It is 1915. A Native American youth embarks on a journey to join a war the likes of which no living person has seen. His purpose is not one of patriotism, though it is the very heart of duty—a duty to pursue and destroy the fell creatures men call werewolf.

The saga of Michael Winterfox continues as he contends not only with his family’s ancient adversary, but also with the Germans. His Cheyenne Dog Man skills are put to the test in the fires of attrition, a world at war.

There seems no end to Mr Easton's yarn-spinning craft. The action, highly detailed world-building exercises and gore-letting up the ante and drag the Reader breathlessly along. I am not so content with the Narrator ... as Michael Winterfox he is great, but some of his foreign accents are so dubious they at times turn the bloody and grim narrative into a comedy - albeit briefly. That irk aside, I most fervently await the next book Mr Easton dreams up.

Just as fine as Book One.

Story was fantastic as always but felt very short given how longs it has been between instalments, hopefully next one is a longer listen.

Great story but far too short
