Hi! I’m Frankie, and if you like dogs, then The Stories of Jack and Rory is the perfect book for you! My Granny Trish tells great stories, and these are about two Labrador dogs called Jack and Rory and all the adventures they have throughout their lives. Some of the stories have morals to them, lots of them are funny, and some of them are sad. Granny Trish says that because of some of the sad bits, this book might not be suitable for really little or sensitive children. I’m seven and three-quarters years old and her stories about Jack and Rory are my favorites! My older cousins also love them too. I really hope you enjoy them!

This book was so fun- I listened to it with two grandson who giggled and smiled the whole way through it. This is a must for any parent or grandparents collection.

Having read the book I was excited to listen to it too. The narrator is perfect, a calming Scottish voice, just like I imagined when reading the books. The audio book is perfect for young people to listen to at bedtime as the stories are a good length and pace of narration is relaxing. A perfect audiobook

What a wonderful audiobook! This chapter book is conveniently divided into stories, making it simple to listen to it in segments or all at once. I fell in love with the lovable labs, especially Jack. I thought it was great that the grandson, Frankie, was telling the story and keeping the book's flow going. Any age group would appreciate this audiobook, but the "morals" were wonderfully suited for children. I'll admit there were a few occasions when I had tears in my eyes. The audiobook is heart-warming and entertaining.

These charming stories will delight animal lovers young and old. As well as being entertaining and humorous, the stories deal with important life lessons. They are ideal to share with young children as, amid the fun, they provide an opportunity to talk through range of issues relevant to children’s lives.
The narration is excellent, just the right pace and tone.

I and my grandchildren really enjoyed this over 4 days on a short holiday. Well constructed and the narrator’s voice kept us all engrossed. Too much for one listen but the children couldn’t wait for the next story. Sensitive in parts but informative. Hope she writes a follow up.
