Summary

He knows how to score, on and off the ice.

Allie Hayes is in crisis mode. With graduation looming, she still doesn't have the first clue about what she's going to do after college. To make matters worse, she's nursing a broken heart thanks to the end of her longtime relationship. Wild rebound sex is definitely not the solution to her problems, but gorgeous hockey star Dean Di-Laurentis is impossible to resist. Just once, though, because even if her future is uncertain, it sure as heck won't include the king of one-night stands.

It'll take more than flashy moves to win her over.

Dean always gets what he wants. Girls, grades, girls, recognition, girls; he's a ladies man, all right, and he's yet to meet a woman who's immune to his charms. Until Allie. For one night, the feisty blonde rocked his entire world - and now she wants to be friends? Nope. It's not over until he says it's over. Dean is in full-on pursuit, but when life-rocking changes strike, he starts to wonder if maybe it's time to stop focusing on scoring, and shoot for love.

Nice little read, predictable but still fun. This is Book 3 in the Off-Campus series, Book 1 The Deal was definitely the best with a decline as you go through. But certainly better than other hockey romance novel. If your look for silly spicy fun I would recommend

Simple but fun

I’ve read the first 2 books in the series (which I thoroughly enjoyed) and then listened to them when I got my audible account (I didn’t enjoy that so much as I didn’t particularly like the narrator for those)
That being said, book 3 (The Score) has brought me back in love with the series, not only for the story, but the narrators were much better. Not only were their voices pleasant to listen to, it was nice having a male read Dean’s chapters!
Looking forward to listening to book 4 :)

Another 5* Elle Kennedy book!

I cannot recommend this book enough!

Not only is this book perfectly written but the performance of this audio book was… *chefs kiss!*
You know it’s a good story being delivered well when you feel every single emotion along side the characters within the story!
Deans wit, style and smoking hot body had me flying through this book!

I’m booked to go to Rare25 in London and cannot wait to meet this amazing author in person! X

So I’ve listened to this now a few times and it’s a toss up between this and The Deal as to which is my favourite book of both series, but Dean Di Laurentis is definitely my favourite Briar U guy!

Allie is just coming out of a long term relationship and is most definitely an “in a relationship” kind of woman. Dean has never really had a long term relationship and is more of a hook-up sort of guy. They end up hooking-up but it appears this isn’t enough for either of them and so they navigate towards their happy ever after. There’s the usual college backstory, and the four hockey guys and their respective gfs make regular appearances. Dean is funny, flirty, sexy, has an issue with wearing shirts, loves sex in public, and literally has no shame. Allie, despite being in a few long term relationships has never really explored her sexual wants and needs and Dean is more than willing to help her with that. As they get to know each other along the way though it’s starts to become much more than physical, there are some really funny bits (who can forget that Twilight conversation?), but there is also heartache and loss, and coming to terms with futures that might not be quite as originally planned.

If you love college, hockey romances with some great spice, great friendships and absolute fun, with a dash of heartache then this book is for you.

Both narrators do a great job at bringing the characters and story to life.

Almost perfect

I didnt love the story but didnt hate it either. It was a bit boring. The female voice is really nice when she speaks in female voice but when she tries to mimic male voice it’s ridiculous and really a buzz kill. I hated every time she mimiced the male voice. She made it sound like a joke. Male voice is not bad, but not the best either. It’s okay.

Story is a bit dry, but not bad
