Nikolai attempts to please his father by kidnapping who he thought was Alison Battalgia but his men had taken the wrong sister.
Stephanie Amaral writing is so beautifully poetic but I felt like this story she doubled that because I was just listening and was so blown away by her descriptions and the underline meaning of the book title honestly once I understood that part and the connection so the butterflies I cried it was so beyond beautiful.
Savannah Thomas was outstanding as Adrianne she brought this fieriness to her character along with an innocence that she has to this new world she has entered with not growing up in the lifestyle. Savannah always has a way of really portraying the emotion that the character is feeling and going through and I felt it hard with everything that Adrianne goes through. Savannah also voices a number of side characters which all had distinct voices and omg her Russian accent is heavenly.
Brandon Francis brings voice to Nikolai as was so fantastic his Russian accent was so good I really enjoyed his narration style and how it felt like a whole different person was narrating compared to how he would narrated as Liam and Matt compared to how he sounded as Nikolai and even the other characters with Russian accents. He also betrayed all of Nikolai trauma so beautifully that I could feel all the pain.
Savannah and Brandon together as a duo was new to me and I felt like this really connected to the characters aswell as having such good chemistry together it felt really back and fourth like they had narrated it together in real time.
