I enjoyed this second book, I felt like the storyline was interesting and as usual Jae writes the more challenging aspects of the characters journey with depth, warmth and empathy. ❤️‍🩹

This was a really heartwarming story that was a little bit different from usual! Not only is it a sweet romance, but it also includes themes of learning to accept yourself and breaking walls down :)

I liked Steph but couldn't really warm to Rae. Very slow burn. I love listening to Lori and she always brings the characters and story alive.
