When his hero Harris know as the Veteran, gives him advise Austin starts to listen. He needs to settle down, he needs to find a home first. In walks Norah, his sexy relator. These two hare flirty, and sexy together.

We have chemistry, love at first meeting, humour and heat.

A great hockey romance story read by two experienced narrators who bring this wonderful novella to life.

Nora meets Austin through her real estate business. It's insta love and insta lust and that's how the story progresses. That said there's much more to this story as Nora manages to cast of her doldrums and starts to find herself experiencing a new job and a new life. Meanwhile Austin who had been suffering from a crisis of confidence finds Nora's love emboldening.

Well written, nicely paced, spicy and warm hearted. Nice listen for a lazy afternoon.

The Rookie is a sexy and sweet, swoony delight! Norah is a determined, intelligent, and funny self-starter with a fabulous sense of humor and the perfect blend of snark and sass. Austin is the quintessential cinnamon roll book boyfriend—kind, respectful, smart, and down to earth. Their first encounter is absolute fire, and they continue to provide pages of laughs and steam. The narrators do awesome job of bringing this story to audio life with their entrancing performances full of intensity, inflection, and emotion. Author OTT has crafted another safe and sexy 10-star love story with all the feels!

This book is basically a sugar rush in audiobook form, and I ate it up with a spoon. Today was one of those days where I needed positive vibes only, and this delivered: short, sweet, zero angst—basically 💯 cute energy from the moment they meet.

It's not plot-heavy, but I felt I really got a sense of two endearing, slightly vulnerable people: Austin is a hockey rookie trying to find his footing in a new city, on a star team. And Norah is a bartender struggling to make a real estate career but feeling left behind by life.

Olivia T. Turner is great at instalove, but this one’s a little less OTT than some of her others. I think that slightly toned-down insta really worked here, though. They meet. They like each other. They fall in love. That’s it. No misunderstandings. No OP drama. No breakups. Just a flirty, sometimes awkward, nicely spicy (dual v-card🍒!) romance.

🎧 Dual narration by Noel Harrison and Vivienne LaRue:
- Noel has a great resonant voice and adds touch of bafflement here, like he can't believe his luck.
- Vivienne's performance is relatable and warm, without getting saccharine. Really enjoyed it!

TL;DR: This is the romance book equivalent of Sticky Toffee Pudding. If you’re not in the mood, it might seem too sweet. But if you've got a sweet tooth, it's pure happiness. I went in craving something feel-good and left with a goofy smile on my face—what more could I ask for?

PS: This is #4 in a series but very easily works as a standalone.

I enjoyed book 4 via audiobook in line with first two books in series as got a little side tracked personally with book 3 whose storyline just didn't connect with me.

A short novella with adult fun, romance and HEA theme so perfect Xmas time escapism and enjoyable distraction.
A feel good, romantic, adult short story series set around a hockey theme with each book set around a different team member. Short and sweet.
