Great story with a wholesome twist, but the female lead came over like a rabid animal, just always angry, shouting or going on the offensive. The husband seemed to be on tenterhooks never knowing what to say and wondering if it would be misinterpreted when spoken....a normal day in married life 😂 and the daughter, well being fourteen explains it away.

The narrator was mediocre mispronouncing a few simple words which was annoying.

A lovely book with a strong storyline which is what I am looking for these days. I stayed interested for the whole story lol. If you like a happy ending and a regency romance then this is for you.
