I guess the mutations on MC are turning him into a zombie since he seems even more braindead than at the end of the first book. Refuses to use any of his skills or weapons (because guns are bad apparently) he hoards. Also, he is supposed to brave and fearless due to skills and items, yet at every turn is getting more and more cowardly and for some reason is always out of mana, even when he DOESN'T CAST ANY SPELLS in any fight. All the other chars who are not even casters, are chain casting spell after spell, yet MC with near full mana focus runs out after casting ONE decay on a boss after resting for 4 days! and is OOM and panics

And as if that wasn't bad enough, the story gets so incredibly boring and linear I could not even finish the book since I kept falling asleep. It is literally as boring as reading a WoW raid report, which I think is basically what this whole series is based on

The start of the series was so good that it is really frustrating how suddenly it got so bad ever since the Item Token/PvP shop arc started

I didn't think the fights could get any more braindead
