A new life on another world!

Morgan used to be a pretty chill dude, until he got hit by a car, died, and then got sent to another world by a god-not-god. A world where the only way to survive was to level and grow strong enough to survive all the monsters that wanted to eat your face. If he was being completely honest with himself, Morgan quite liked this world, even with all the monsters and the lack of electricity. Sure, there were people that were technically gods, running around and interfering with his life, but who didn't have problems?

Things weren't all that bad; Morgan found friends, who included bad-ass elven twins, an orc, and a descendant of a Roman General from an alternate version of Earth, and together with them he founded a Guild, got some followers, and basically became a ruler.

So yeah, not all too bad - except that he now had several towns and villages of people looking to him for guidance and protection. And to make matters worse, a new Goblin King had risen and united the tribes in the mountains. Now they had a goblin horde on the way, and Morgan and his friends had to figure out a way to protect them all. Should be easy, right?

as with most stories serving the power fantasy crowd, the story quickly becomes predictable and, to me personally, not that interesting...
Still, if you enjoyed the first installment, this is probably for you

predictable

I enjoy the story but feel like the world or characters lack something. I struggled to care about a lot of the characters and they feel kind of basic and superficial in there thoughts and emotions except the main character, although even he is quite basic except for one part of the story about his step dad.
Its a good read, im not disappointed but i dont think i will buy the other 2 books. Also kind of lame that they are still only fighting goblins after 2 books like can we see some more creatures.

Good but lacking something

I was hooked on book 1 so immediately got book 2. main character is likeable , supporting characters are ok and am sure will develop with the story. the story is easy to listen to and generally follows litrpg game rules on leveling and skills, this may irritate someone new to this genre?
just as I done with review of book 1 , I dropped 1 star overall as I felt the book was a bit short, on reflection though this could be down to me power listening my way through it?
I am looking forward to the next book in the series and hope it will be out soon.

litrpg themed story with God twist.

good book, I especially like that the Orcs all have normal names while humans ect have hard to pronounce names. Combat is very well written and the combination of skills and abilities are implemented in interesting ways. Morgan is a bit daft but honestly likeable.

Fun
