Fascinating insight into the pathologist’s role in determining the cause of death and explaining how critical it is for hypotheses to be able to replicated in order to be proof of undeniable scientific fact. The last chapter explaining the ‘21 grams’ theory which was previously unknown to me was absolutely fascinating. More of the same please!

Really enjoyed this book. The author sets out stories which he reads well while keeping you entertained. Stories from all the aspects of his life as a pathologist….so there is some gore but I highly recommend it.

It was quite educational. I learned some facts that were unknown to me. Not that I can remember them now but hope they’ll come to mind in the next pub quiz.

I feel bad to say that I didn't enjoy this as much as the other books but it was largely due to the narrator changing. The content was varied and the book did make this clear from the outset that it wasn't in the same theme as previous books. Some interesting topics which held my interest, some references to the cases mentioned in the previous books but not overlapping so much as to be repetitive. Overall another good book but I just preferred the previous narrator, sorry! CT-C has certainly lived and had an interesting life!

Good story, well read, jumps around somewhat which can become confusing but this is ultimately a list of interesting stories so it’s not difficult to tune in ad hoc. The author reading their story sounds consistently hungry throughout, audible belly rumbles which I enjoyed.
